STUDS
If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll have seen studs appearing on anything from bags and shoes to belts and jeans all through 2024. The unique blend of high fashion, homemade charm and a contemporary and rebellious spirit means it is no wonder the stud is being welcomed back to the zeitgeist.
2. POLKA DOTS
A classic in the world of prints, the polka dot embodies feminine fun in the most delicious way. Seen on French cool girls, Italian beach babies and the trench-coat clad Londoner, this print is for sure to be a favourite in 2025.
3. KNEE-LENGTH SKIRTS
Love them or loathe them, knee-length garments have slowly been appearing on fashionistas this past year from capris, to skirts to dresses. The knee-length skirt however, it truly having its moment and so we expect to see much more of them come Spring / Summer.
4. BROWN
Pantone has named ‘Mocha Mousse’ the colour of 2025 and we couldn’t be more on board. Look to Hailey Beiber, Kendall Jenner and Ruby Lyn for a masterclass in how to style browns in the new year.
5. FLIP FLOPS
With flat shoes and kitten heels reigning supreme during the first half of the 2020s, it is unsurprising that flip flops will be next Summer’s biggest shoe trend - whether you’re rocking a pair of elevated flip flop kittens or just a classic Haviana.
6. PEACOATS
An Autumn / Winter staple, the peacoat is the trench’s funner little sister. Pair your pea with bootcut jeans, bare legs and ballet pumps of tights and moto boots for the freshest cold-whether look. And don’t forget to button it to the top!
7. CHARMS
Quiet luxury has decreased in popularity over 25% since November 2024, making way for the revived trend of maximalism. One way to do this is accessorising anything and everything. With the term ‘Jake Birkin-ifying’ your bag becoming popularised this year, lean into your individuality and have fun decorating your purses and shoes in 2025.
